Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Different terms apply to personalised artwork and prints supplied exactly as shown. Please read the section that applies to your order.
Non-personalised Judaica prints
Judaica prints sold through our shop are supplied as shown and are not personalised. You may cancel your order without giving a reason by contacting us within 14 days of delivery. After telling us that you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the print.
Please return the print unframed, undamaged and in substantially its original condition and packaging. You are responsible for arranging and paying for tracked return postage for a change-of-mind return. Please keep your proof of postage.
We will refund the product price to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned print or evidence that you have sent it, whichever is earlier. We may reduce the refund if handling beyond what would normally be permitted in a shop has reduced the print's value. Outgoing delivery is currently free, so there is no original delivery charge to refund.
Personalised ketubah and wedding vows prints
Ketubah prints and wedding vows prints are made to your specifications using customer-supplied wording, names and layout, with hand-applied gold detailing. Because they are personalised, we cannot accept change-of-mind cancellations or returns after typesetting, design or personalisation work has begun.
If you contact us before that work begins, we will cancel the order and provide a full refund. You will receive a proof before printing and are responsible for checking all names, wording, spelling, dates and supplied text before approving it. An item that matches an approved proof is not faulty because of an error that was present in that proof.
Hand-applied gold detailing and the difference between screens and printed materials can result in small, natural variations. These do not affect your rights where there is a substantial defect or discrepancy. Printing errors, production defects, shipping damage or a material difference from the approved proof remain eligible for an appropriate correction, replacement or refund.
Fully custom ketubahs and bespoke commissions
A fully custom commission may be cancelled for a full refund before creative work begins. Once bespoke work has begun, change-of-mind cancellations and returns are not available. Your proposal or commission agreement will explain the project stages, payment schedule, included revisions and the value of work completed if the project is cancelled.
Your finished artwork must match the agreed brief and approved proof. Faults, shipping damage or material differences from what was agreed remain covered by the remedies described below and by your statutory rights.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect orders
These protections apply to every order, including personalised and bespoke artwork. If an item is faulty, arrives damaged, is incorrect or is materially not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Include your order reference and, where relevant, clear photographs of the item and packaging.
We will work with you to provide the legally appropriate correction, repair, replacement or refund. If a return is required because the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially not as described, SHB Ketubahs will pay reasonable return postage.
How to request a return or cancellation
Please use our contact form and include your name, order reference and the reason for contacting us. We will reply with the return address and packaging instructions where a return is needed. Please do not send artwork back before receiving those instructions.
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights. Customers outside the UK also retain any mandatory consumer rights that apply in their country.
