Terms of Sale and Studio Licence

These terms apply when you purchase a professionally printed item or digital artwork through Ketubah Studio or Wedding Vow Studio. They supplement our returns, refunds and cancellations policy. If there is a conflict concerning cancellation, faulty products or your statutory consumer rights, that policy and applicable law continue to apply.

Sophie Bacall and/or SHB Ketubahs, as applicable, retain all copyright and other intellectual-property rights in the illustrations, painted elements, motifs, templates, Studio assets, software and other artwork supplied by us. Purchasing a print or digital file does not transfer ownership of those rights. Sophie Bacall asserts her right to be identified as the artist of her artwork.

You retain ownership of text and other original material that you provide. You give us permission to use that material only as reasonably necessary to prepare, fulfil and support your order.

Once payment is complete, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use the finished Studio artwork for your own wedding and private display. This licence does not permit commercial use or the sale of copies.

If you purchase a professionally printed item, you own that physical item. You may display it privately, give it as a gift or resell that single original physical item, but no reproduction rights accompany it.

A digital purchase supplies a high-resolution artwork file and permits you to arrange one physical print for your own wedding and private display. No physical print is supplied by SHB Ketubahs. You may also keep one backup copy.

You may provide the file to a professional printer solely to produce that one print for you.

The printer receives no right to retain, reuse, sell, share or distribute the file or artwork. Please ask the printer to delete its working copy after completing your order. Contact us if you need written permission for a replacement following loss or damage.

You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:

• make or sell additional copies of the artwork;
• sell, offer for sale or commercially distribute a digital or physical reproduction;
• share, sublicense, transfer or redistribute the digital file;
• upload the artwork to a marketplace, stock library or print-on-demand service;
• use the artwork on another product, service, template or commercial commission;
• extract, copy or reuse individual Studio artwork elements or assets; or
• remove or alter copyright or authorship information included with the file.

Unauthorised reproduction, distribution or commercial sale may infringe copyright and will be a material breach of this licence. We may ask you and any marketplace, host, printer or other service involved to stop the activity and remove related listings or files, and we may pursue remedies available under applicable law.

A breach does not give us any automatic right to impose a penalty. Any remedy will be limited to what is reasonably available under the contract and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights, including your rights where goods, digital content or services are faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.

The version accepted when you place your order applies to that purchase. We may update these terms for future orders, but later changes will not retrospectively replace the version you accepted.
